Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping

Rolex Grand Slam

The Idea Behind It

The Rolex Grand Slam links four of the world’s top equestrian events, which are united by one notion: The search for perfection. Of course the CHIO Aachen, the CSIO Spruce Meadows 'Masters', the CHI Geneva and the Dutch Masters excel as a result of the high prize-money at stake. The four Rolex Grand Prix alone are endowed with prize-money totalling over 5 million Euros  – now there’s the chance to win a bonus on top. However, it is not big prize-money alone that makes an event eligible for inclusion in the Rolex Grand Slam.

Additional factors such as tradition, attendance figures, media presence and the infrastructure of the shows must also demonstrate the highest standards. Only events that are prepared to strive for top-class quality in all areas are able to join the ranks of the Rolex Grand Slam.

The targeted fostering of young talent is also a part of the Rolex Grand Slam. Two young riders are invited to each of the four shows – in order to gain experience on the top level of our sport.
