“THIS VICTORY MEANS
SO MUCH TO ME.
The cards were shuffled once again
for the last Major of the year 2019, the
CHI Geneva in Switzerland. Beezie
Madden was unable to compete,
which meant even before the event
started one thing was sure, the Rolex
Grand Prix would produce a new
Grand Slam contender. Forty topclass
pairs qualified to contest victory
in Geneva. Ultimately, the reigning
European Champion, Martin Fuchs
(SUI) with his brilliant horse Clooney,
jumped to victory and the Rolex
Grand Prix title. Scott Brash (GBR)
and his mount, Hello Senator, placed
second.
During the prize-giving ceremony, the
Swiss show-jumper was visibly moved
in front of his home crowd: “Being
able to stand on the top step of the
podium today, means so much to me,”
Martin Fuchs stated. “It was a long
road and I am very proud of what I
have achieved. Thank you, Geneva,
and thank you, Clooney.”
Now it is up to Martin Fuchs to continue
writing the history of the Rolex
Grand Slam of Show Jumping. Will he
go on to win the Grand Prix in ’s-Hertogenbosch
and travel to the CHIO
Aachen in June with the aim of seizing
the Rolex Grand Slam title? Or will
The Dutch Masters 2020 bring forth
a new Major winner? The answer will
be revealed in the Rolex Grand Prix on
Sunday, March 15th. It’s time!
Henrik von Eckermann (SWE),
last year’s Rolex Grand Prix champion,
The Dutch Masters.
Het is zover! De eerste Major

zij de ultieme uitdaging zullen aangaan
tijdens The Dutch Masters: de
Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping.
De ruiter die het lukt om drie Majors
achter elkaar te winnen gaat de geschiedenis
in als Grand Slam winnaar
en wint daarmee een bonus van 1

The Dutch Masters heeft een lange
traditie en het grootste indoor concours
