Rolex has been supporting the equestrian sport for more than half a century. The watch brand is thus proud to be a partner of an historical initiative for the promotion of excellence in the field of equestrian sport.
Four of the largest show organisers in the world in the area of equestrian sport – the CHIO Aachen, the CSIO Spruce Meadows 'Masters', the CHI Geneva and The Dutch Masters – bundled their forces and launched the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping. It is a unique alliance that is considered to be the ultimate challenge and which has set a new benchmark in the world of show jumping.
The joint project of the four most significant show organisers was devised as a pinnacle equestrian sport event. It is the first global initiative that rewards the outstanding rider, who succeeds in riding to victory in three Majors in succession. Since the Swiss watch brand has been supporting this discipline and in particular the four prestigious events that make up the Rolex Grand Slam for many years already, the organisers invited Rolex to become the exclusive partner of the event.
With the founding of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping, Rolex committed itself long-term to this event, which has long since advanced into the ultimate event on the equestrian sport circuit. Hence, the watch manufacturer has once again demonstrated its commitment – along the lines of its sponsorship of the top competitions in the fields of tennis, golf, and sailing.
