From 9 to 13 September 2026, the CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ Tournament returns to Calgary for the third Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping Major of the calendar year. Renowned for its unique atmosphere and world class competition, the ‘Masters’ once again promises five days of elite sport and entertainment, bringing together the world’s leading horse and rider combinations alongside a programme of attractions for visitors of all ages.

The competition begins on Wednesday with the first of ten CSIO5* classes taking place in the International Ring, the TELUS Cup. Friday will see international rivalry take centre stage in the BMO Nations’ Cup, where nine nations will battle for team honours in one of show jumping’s most prestigious team competitions. Great Britain returns as defending champions and will be aiming to retain the coveted title against a world class field. Saturday’s programme includes the Tourmaline Oil Cup, offering riders a final opportunity to qualify for Sunday’s showpiece, the CPKC ‘International’ Grand Prix, presented by Rolex, and a chance to win a share of the CAD $5 million prize fund.

Away from the International Ring, Spruce Meadows will also deliver an experience that extends beyond just sport. The shopping village will welcome a wide selection of luxury, lifestyle and equestrian retailers, including the return of the Hermès boutique. Visitors can also enjoy an extensive choice of food and hospitality throughout the venue.

Entertainment remains at the forefront of the ‘Masters’ schedule with the TELUS Evening of the Horse on Friday, combining top level sport with a spectacular evening programme. The ATCO Electric Six Bar competition will kick off the excitement and will be followed by a fireworks display choreographed to a live musical performance by the Band of the Welsh Guards, providing a fitting celebration of tradition and pageantry.

The ‘Masters’ will also celebrate the heritage that underpins equestrian sport. Germany’s Celle Stallions will be showcasing their exceptional breeding and training through demonstrations of dressage, long-lining, quadrilles, and more. Additionally, the Blacksmith World Championships will again bring together some of the world's finest farriers, who will compete in a series of technical challenges that demonstrate the craftsmanship supporting elite equestrian sport.

Across the grounds, spectators can enjoy an array of family friendly attractions. Fan favourites including the ever-popular Corgi races return alongside children's activities and interactive experiences throughout the Plaza, ensuring there is something to enjoy for visitors of every age.

Reflecting on Spruce Meadows' wider commitment to community engagement, the Food Security Roundtable returns as part of the 2026 programme, bringing together industry leaders and stakeholders to discuss food sustainability and agricultural innovation. Alongside the sporting action, initiatives such as these continue to reinforce the venue's role as a meeting place for conversation, education and collaboration.

The ‘Masters’ will be fittingly concluded by the CPKC ‘International’ Grand Prix, presented by Rolex, one of the richest and most demanding Grands Prix in the sport, contested over two rounds and, if required, a jump-off. Particular attention will focus on current World Number 2, Richard Vogel, who arrives in Calgary as the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping live contender. Having already claimed the Rolex Grands Prix at The Dutch Masters and TSCHIO Aachen aboard his impressive stallion United Touch S, the German now attempts to become only the second rider in history to claim the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping, following Scott Brash's historic achievement in 2015. With CAD $5 million on offer and one of the sport's most prestigious titles at stake, the CPKC ‘International’ Grand Prix, presented by Rolex, promises another memorable chapter in the pursuit of show jumping's ultimate prize.
